After her 30-minute expedition, Nicole and her pal dropped by McDonald's for some fries and an extra order of trans fats.(pleaseeee that's for the camera!)

Nicole Richie appeared to be on the path to recovery last night at the CBS taping of the Victoria's Secret runway show in Los Angeles.
Rocking a hot pink mini dress and open-toed Louboutins, Nicole showed off her fuller figure as she partied the night away with pal and the night's big performer, Justin Timberlake.

Amid recent rumours that she underwent gastric bypass, Nicole Richie has lashed out in her latest MySpace entry:
"So i gain a little bit of weight, and im acussed of having a gastric bypass surgery reversed? Its pathetic of Page Six to insinuate i have done this. Page Six has a blind item today asking: "Which young Hollywood starlet had secret gastric bypass surgery, but then lost too much weight? During a recent four-day stint at a health clinic, she was actually having an operation to remove the bypass."
Which sounds a lot like it could be Nicole Richie. If it is her, then it turns out she's not anorexic at all, just ridiculously stupid. You don't get gastric bypass surgery when you're 12 pounds overweight.

On October 26, Nicole Richie’s rep announced that the size-0 actress, whose weight slipped to an estimated 87 pounds this summer, was undergoing treatment for her weight issues.
“I’m not in rehab, and I don’t have an eating disorder,” Richie tells Us. “I’m getting the help I need and taking care of my health.”

Nicole Richie passed out at Hyde nightclub early Sunday morning in Hollywood.
We're told it occurred just before 2 a.m., when Richie passed out and fell to the floor. An employee approached Richie and her friends and said he was calling 911. Sources say they told the employee not to make the call and that they would take Richie to a hospital. The friends then carried Richie out of the club through the back door.

Nicole Richie has entered into a "diagnostic treatment program" to determine why she hasn't been gaining weight.
"She's not being treated for an eating disorder," a Richie source tells Us Weekly. "They're trying to figure out why she's not gaining weight."
Another source tells Us that Richie may be suffering from a rare blood disease, and that tests may reveal a connection to her inability to gain weight.
In the meantime, shooting of The Simple Life 5, which was scheduled to start next week, will be delayed by at least one week.

CNN had the following statement on their news ticker on Monday: "Lionel Richie says he is not happy about his daughters pencil thin figure and neither is Nicole Richie, today she has checked into rehab for an eating disorder."
However, Nicole has responded to the claims on her MySpace page, posting a statement that says, "Contrary to CNN's false accusations, I did not check myself into an eating disorder rehab. I dont know why or how this rumor started, but i am home, in LA, and very happy. I do not have an eating disorder, and I don't know...
