A Bahamian judge ruled on April 27 that Virgie Arthur, Anna Nicole's mom, had no right to block Birkhead from taking Dannielynn to the U.S., and fined her $3,000 in attorney's fees for her "frivolous appeal," says the source. The judge said at one point to Virgie's lawyer, "You must descend from theory to reality."

Despite reports that Anna Nicole Smith's babydaddy will be revealed at 10AM EST, TMZ has learned that the hearing to determine custody of Dannielynn will start in the Bahamas at 2.30 pm EST -- so keep your pants on.
We're told that all the usual parties -- Larry Birkhead, Howard K. Stern, and Virgie Arthur -- will be present. You can expect Virgie to declare her intent to seek custody of the baby, even if Birkhead is the biological father.
Anna Nicole’s mother, Virgie Arthur, is trying to claim Anna’s body as her next of kin with the help of Corals Gable lawyer Stephen Tunstall. Currently Anna’s body lies in the morgue prevented from being released for burial by two court orders, one of which is for a DNA sample requested by Larry Birkhead to be used during the paternity test.

In October 2006, Smith's estranged mom, Virgie Arthur, told Nancy Grace on CNN Headline News that after the death of Anna's son, Daniel, she was concerned that Howard K. Stern was the one in line to inherit Anna's millions.
"If Howard Stern marries her and she ends up dead, then who does the money go [to]? Danny's not there," Arthur said.
