Nicole Richie has stepped down as host of a Las Vegas New Year's Eve party following her arrest on DUI charges last week.
The scandal has seen her cancel the appearance at Tangerine night club. She'll be replaced by rocker Dave Navarro. Tak about disappointment!
Steve Davidovici, of Pure Management Group, who run the club, says, "We love Nicole and we wish her the best. We hope to bring her back in the future."

Nicole Richie is telling friends the reason she was on Vicodin was to treat menstruation cramps. She's allegedly upset over media reports that she's addicted to pills and insists she only "occasionally" takes Vicodin once a month at the start of her period.

CNN reported December 11th that Nicole Richie was arrested Monday for a DUI.
California Highway Patrol officers took Richie, 25, into custody after she failed a field sobriety test according to CHP officer Todd Workman.
Her black Mercedes was stopped in the car pool lane of State Highway 134 when officers arrived. Authorities recieved 911 phone calls about a car going the wrong way on the freeway.
Richie was set free on $15,000 bail according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department report.

Nicole Richie was reportedly spotted going the wrong way down the freeway in Burbank, CA. Richie was eventually pulled over and was found to be alone in her car and talking on her cell phone.
Law enforcement officials tell that Richie admitted to taking Vicodin and smoking pot prior to getting behind the wheel.
