Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt kept everyone guessing at the The Hills finale after party Monday night.
Montag, 21, appeared at the Los Angeles club Area without her engagement ring and without Pratt, 23, triggering fans to call out: "Heidi, where's the ring? Heidi, where's Spencer?"
As Montag flashed her ring-less finger for photographers, another fan called out, "You're better off without him!"
Fans may have to wait until season four for more details on the couple's tumultuous romance as Montag was mum on the red carpet.

While Lauren Conrad tries to sell the world on the idea that the MTV series "The hills" is "not fake" it is being reported that she may have a new beau I her life and he is quite the hunk. Outraged over reports that her MTV mega-hit is scripted, Conrad, 21, has released the following statement:
"There have been some rumors in the press about The Hills being fake. Many of you have been asking me if the rumors are true. There are false rumors every week about me and I can’t address every rumor out there, but I feel like this was important for me to respond to. The show is not fake and this is really my life."
Hills enemies Lauren and Heidi finally had it out face-to-face over the sex-tape rumors that dogged Lauren earlier this year.
The much-anticipated showdown took place at the annual Declare Yourself event to reach out to politically-involved young Hollywood in hopes of garnering their vote, but that night it was all Lauren and Heidi could do to not reach out and wring each others' necks. After countless heart-to-hearts with concerned friends (on and off camera), Audrina Patridge has finally told her motorcycle-riding boyfriend Justin "Bobby" Brescia to hit the road.
The Hills star tells Us Weekly in its new issue that it took an embarrassing public blowout at a nightclub for her to realize he was not Mr. Right.
"I caught him doing something he shouldn't have been doing and it was just the last straw," Patridge, 22, tells Us of her October 16 fight with Brescia outside of L.A. nightclub Opera.

It seems Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag have put their differences aside and ended their celebrity feud. The Hills stars were seen together the weekend before Halloween getting into Lauren's black Mercedes convertible, which was parked in the garage of Lauren's building, a source tells Star. "They were laughing, hugging and being very affectionate with one another," says the source.

Just how real is The Hills? According to model Gavin Beasley—you may remember him as Lauren Conrad’s date (and also the guy who made Brody Jenner jealous)— the MTV show isn’t as real as the network or its stars would like you to believe.

There was no shortage of Elle Woods' signature color pink at a special MTV taping of the musical version of Legally Blonde in NYC yesterday. The ladies of The Hills put on their party dresses to host the pre-show event. Audrina showed off her super toned arms and LC kept it simple in her LBD. Whitney got right into the pink spirit in a dress that Beyonce showed off in July. Looks like Heidi and Spencer couldn't make it

They call MTV's "The Hills" a "reality" show, but we've had our doubts for some time. Fueling our skepticism, on Tuesday night, the star, Lauren Conrad, showed up at Da Silvano for dinner with three friends and a camera crew. One irked diner told us, "It was clear that this show is not a reality show. They took five takes of Lauren ordering dinner. The film crew took over the outside eating area by setting up lights and cameras everywhere. They should go back to California."
