WASHINGTON - Bindi Irwin is ready to continue her famous father’s work spreading the wonder of wildlife.
“I’m going to become a wildlife warrior just like he was,” 8-year-old Bindi, son of the late Steve Irwin, told an audience Friday at Washington’s National Press Club.

Video footage showing tragic Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin dying from a stingray barb to the chest has been destroyed now it’s no longer needed by investigators.
The footage of Irwin’s last moments on September 4, 2006 was used in a police report and coroner’s investigation into his death, but the original copy has now been returned to Irwin’s widow Terri and all other copies have been destroyed.

SYDNEY, Australia - Authorities gave the video of “Crocodile Hunter” Steve Irwin’s fatal encounter with a stingray to his family and destroyed all copies to prevent the grisly footage from being made public, an Australian state coroner said Thursday.

One of the big debates when Steve Irwin was tragically killed by a stingray was whether the video f the death should be broadcast. The cameras were rolling when the 'Crocodile Hunter' was stabbed through the heart by a barb from the ray and was killed.

A public memorial service was held in honour of 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin today (20.09.06).
Over 5,000 people attended the ceremony, which was staged in the 'Crocoseum' at the wildlife expert's Australia Zoo, in Queensland, and broadcast live to Australia, Asia and America.
