LOS ANGELES - After spending two months ensconced quietly in an Oregon rehab program, Robin Williams is back making laughs onscreen.
The 55-year-old comedian voices two characters in the animated “Happy Feet” and performs alongside an ensemble cast including Ben Stiller and Dick Van Dyke in the holiday fantasy “Night at the Museum.”
He’s grateful, he said, for the support of family and friends after his relapse into alcoholism earlier in the year, for which he checked into rehab on his own.

There was a different kind of premiere in Hollywood last night for the new animated movie Happy Feet. The stars took to the ice so that some cute little penguins, the true stars of the film, could join them at the Chinese Theater.
Other stars who lent their voices to the film were Robin Williams, Elijah Wood and Nicole Kidman. Looks like Nicole didn't make it, maybe because she's busy with Keith.

Comedian Robin Williams has checked out of rehab and moved in with a sober friend in a bid to save his marriage to his wife Marsha.
The Oscar winner, who is battling alcoholism after more than 20 years of sobriety, checked himself in Newberg, Oregon’s Hazeldon Springbrook clinic in July (06).
However, Williams is determined to win back his spouse so has moved in with a non-drinking friend “to ensure he doesn’t fall off the wagon”, reports British newspaper The Sun.

Robin Williams is seeking treatment for alcoholism, his publicist, Mara Buxbaum, told the Associated Press Wednesday.
Buxbaum told the AP that Williams, 55, had been sober for 20 years.
Williams "found himself drinking again and has decided to take proactive measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family," Buxbaum said in a statement. "He looks forward to returning to work this fall to support his upcoming film releases."
Williams is currently starring in the thriller The Night Listener.
