Anna Nicole Smith Paternity Case - A Bahamian court is expected to rule today in the paternity case of Anna Nicole Smith's infant daughter. Under Bahamian legal rules however, the results cannot be made public by either of the parties involved in the paternity and custody battle.
They can however, be revealed. The judge in the case will have to lift the gag order in order to do so.

Thet attorneys for Howard K. Stern and Larry Birkhead are currently in negotiations regarding the paternity of Dannielynn Hope. There are rumors that Larry’s attorneys used a cup that Howard drank from during court last week to test his DNA which might have proved Larry was the true father. This could be the reason for settlement negotations.
Sources say Howard could be trying to settle with Larry, giving him what he needs for custody but making sure Howard still gets his dough and control’s ANS’s estate.
The husband of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor had a decade-long affair with Anna Nicole Smith and may be her daughter's father, he told The Associated Press on Friday.

A judge in the Anna Nicole Smith baby dispute temporarily blocked an order forcing her daughter to undergo paternity testing, an attorney said.
A Tuesday deadline had been set for the test sought by Larry Birkhead, who claims he is the father of Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern. She was born Sept. 7 in the Bahamas.
Ronald A. Rale, an attorney for the 39-year-old former Playboy playmate, questioned the legality of the test, saying Bahamian authorities needed to grant work permits before an American doctor could conduct the test.

Larry Birkhead arrived at court today to file a paternity suit against Anna Nicole Smith. Birkhead claims that he is the biological father, not Howard K. Stern, of Anna Nicole Smith's newborn baby girl. I hope this case drags on long enough to make a great made for TV movie. Or better yet, a telenovela.

The photojournalist claiming to be the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby daughter alleges in court documents that Smith was taking methadone and is hiding out in the Bahamas to keep her baby from being tested for drugs.
Larry Birkhead filed court papers in Los Angeles on Monday (02Oct06), attempting to establish paternity and obtain legal custody of the child.
