While in the field, Us reporters often run across celebrities doing everything from smoking pot to snorting lines of cocaine in private parties and clubs. Of course, drug and alcohol use among celebrities is nothing new, but in a frightening turn, it appears to have become more publicly accepted.
One source recalls a recent star-studded New Year's Eve bash in Miami: "There were lines of coke on the table, weed everywhere. It was insane. It was a very free atmosphere."

Paris Hilton sure gave the locals a show in Sydney.
The heiress arrived in Australia this morning, where she'll celebrate New Year's Eve as hostess of a giant bash. After spending the afternoon seaside with BFF Kim Kardashian, it was time for a beachside shower in her Louis Vuitton bikini. Of course it was.
We're guessing the photogs also needed a cold shower.
Here's some footage from the set of a commercial starring ubiquitous heiress Paris Hilton. All they seem to want her to do is walk down the street -- from the limo to a scooter -- then go back and do it again. Finally, something Paris has the talent for; street walking!
With Paris' name recognition, we're sure she's being amply compensated for taking this repeated stroll. Seems like an easy way to make some commercial cash.
The only hard part seems to be wearing those shoes, which have heels high enough to warrant hazard pay.

After what seems like a year worth of relentless bad press, Lindsay Lohan continues to seek refuge in Paris where she has been for the past week.
As for last night's Tommy Hilfiger store opening, LiLo was not there just to lend celebrity support. It turns out that she was also there to offer her mad skills as a D.J. Lindsay tells the AP: "I've known Tommy Hilfiger since I was very young, and I made a promise to him to DJ. I'm not sure how I got myself into this, but I love Paris."

Lindsay Lohan went last night at the first Tommy Hilfiger store opening in Paris.
LiLo was practically inseparable from the American designer as they strolled throughout the 5200-square-foot megastore.

Eva Longoria and Tony Parker's relationship was saved by Paris, friends have claimed.
