Now it appears that Anna Nicole Smith was taking methadone and Demerol while 8-months pregnant. She got the prescriptions from two different doctors and the prescription may have been illegal. TMZ obtained an air bill dated August 8, 2006 that states a package containing 30 pills of Demerol — a morphine-like pain killer, 30 pills of Dalmane — a sleeping pill, and injectable vials of vitamin B12 were sent to Vickie Marshall (Anna Nicole's legal name) in the Bahamas.

The refrigerator, which was inside Anna Nicole's bedroom in the Bahamas, contained methadone (5 mg per 5 ml). The small refrigerator contained cans of Slim-Fast-- ironic, since Smith was TRIMSPA's spokesperson. Several bottles of TRIMSPA sat right next to the fridge.
The fridge also contained Miracle 2000 (marketed as a nutritional supplement for "today's active lifestyle"), French's Worcestershire Sauce, yogurt and spray butter. It also appears there are vials of injectable medicines.

A pathologist probing the death of model Anna Nicole Smith's son said on Thursday that since the cause has been found, the case can be closed without holding a planned inquest in the Bahamas next month.
Pathologist Cyril Wecht, hired by the Smith family to investigate, said the 20-year-old died of an accidental but fatal interaction of three drugs: anti-depressants Lexipro and Zoloft, and methadone, a painkiller used mostly to treat heroin addiction.

The death of Anna Nicole Smith's 20-year-old son Daniel was caused by a lethal combination of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro, pathologist Cyril Wecht has revealed to PEOPLE exclusively.
Wecht said the drugs caused the cardiac dysrhythmia that led to Daniel's death. Wecht got the toxicology results from National Medical Services in Willow Grove, Pa., today.
