Continuing to face struggles throughout her life, Heather Locklear was arrested at 4:30 PM in Montecito for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medication, police reports tell.
After being booked and posing for a mug shot at around 8 PM, the former “Melrose Place” actress is said to have been released from lock-up a few hours later.

Jason Wahler has been released from a Seattle jail after serving almost three weeks for assault, criminal trespass and underage drinking.
Lindsay Lohan surrendered herself to jail today to serve her 24-hour sentence - and was released again just 84 minutes later.
The sentence was part of the plea bargain Lindsay agreed with prosecutors after being arrested for two DUIs over the summer.
Lindsay had until next January to serve the time but according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s office, she turned herself into Century Regional Detention Facility at Lynwood at 10.30am this morning local time but released again at 11.54am.

Talk about a smart move. Nicole Richie snuck into jail today to serve her sentence for DUI.
She was booked at the Lynwood Jail, where Paris did her time, at 3:15 this afternoon. Great move by her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley. While all the attention was on Lindsay, no one was watching Nicole.

Celebrity informants report that expectant mother and soon-to-be September bride Nicole Richie is scheduled to begin serving the weekend. Insiders say Nicole may turn herself over to authorities and begin her four-day sentence at the Century Regional Correctional Facility within the next forty-eight hours.

Just like her "Simple Life" co-star Paris Hilton, a judge sentenced Richie to serve time in County Jail -- but only four days -- she has been credited for six hours of time served. Richie was also fined $2048 and was ordered back to school for 21 days to an alcohol education course.
Richie must report to serve her time by September 28th.

Paris Hilton isn't holding to her word about turning her life around and using her fame for good. Looks like the chances of Nicole Richie escaping jail time for her second DUI offense are pretty slim. According to TMZ, the judge who is set to preside over her case next week is reportedly very tough and very much by the book. If convicted on Wednesday, Richie faces a minimum of five days in jail, and sources say the judge isn't likely to give the starlet any special treatment.
While Pete Doherty was looking like his usual disheveled self leaving a courthouse in London yesterday, he did actually do something decent - he plead guilty to the many charges of drug possession and DUIs that brought him to court in the first place. He also confirmed that he and Kate have split and blamed his troubled past on "personal problems." Apparently Kate changed all her locks and refused to speak to him after the latest cheating scandal.
