Elijah Wood is doubling up on his penguin love - as well as providing his voice for animated movie Happy Feet, the actor will narrate new nature documentary "Saving A Species" for the Discovery Kids network.
The TV documentary follows the efforts of a group of environmentalists who fought the odds to save a population of South African penguins in the aftermath of a huge oil spill.
Wood says, "The relief effort that came together was truly, truly extraordinary and they managed to save the entire population of penguins."

There was a different kind of premiere in Hollywood last night for the new animated movie Happy Feet. The stars took to the ice so that some cute little penguins, the true stars of the film, could join them at the Chinese Theater.
Other stars who lent their voices to the film were Robin Williams, Elijah Wood and Nicole Kidman. Looks like Nicole didn't make it, maybe because she's busy with Keith.

This past Tuesday, Elijah and his girlfriend Pamela Racine were running errands and spotted picking up some drawer pulls (handles) and other DIY items at Liz's Antique Hardware (located at 453 South La Brea Los Angeles, California 90036).
