'Lost' star Evangeline Lilly and her co-star boyfriend Dominic Monaghan visited the burnt remains of her home on Wednesday night (20.12.06).
The pair waited until sunset before arriving at the house - which was destroyed by fire earlier that morning - in an attempt to salvage any remains.
A source said: "They came with flashlights and wore gloves to sift through the ashes. They only found a few personal items left intact, but Evangeline put on a brave face and managed a smile."

“Lost” stars Dominic Monaghan and Evangeline Lilly are getting married next summer.
The couple, who play former drug addict Charlie Pace and feisty fugitive Kate Austin in the hit series, met on set and got engaged earlier this year. They are now making plans to tie the knot next summer.
A source said: “They decided the time was right and they are very much in love. It will be a summer wedding.”
