David Spade & Heather Locklear, 45, was recently spotted sharing an intimate dinner with Christina Applegate’s ex-husband, actor Johnathan Schaech, 37 (That Thing You Do!), at Mastro’s Steakhouse in Thousand Oaks, California.
“She really likes him,” says a Locklear pal of the actor (his divorce with Applegate is almost finalized). “It’s still in that fun, getting-to-know-each-other stage.”
But the divorcée should tread carefully. On December 9, a witness saw Schaech at the Maxim/Skyy Vodka party in L.A. “acting single.”

Heather Locklear and David Spade are taking a break from their six-month relationship, according to media reports.
The couple were first spotted kissing at an after party for Spade’s series “Showbiz Show” in March — one month after Locklear filed for divorce from Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora.
A source tells People magazine, “Heather is still going through a lot with Denise (Richards) and Richie. It’s just too soon for her to get serious. They are still friends. It’s not ugly.”

Heather and David have been hanging out all summer, and with the end of the summer comes the end of this romance. Heather has decided it's just too soon to move on with David, so the two are taking a break and will be "just friends". So much for true love; we thought the gold-and-diamond skull necklace Heather gave David meant this relationship was serious. People reports:
