Vanessa Minnillo has booked a supporting role in the upcoming sequel "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer."
According to Variety, Minnillo will play a love interest for Chris Evans' Johnny Storm/Human Torch. But the trade paper doesn't go into any depth on if the character appears in only a fleeting appearance (which seems likely) or if it's a more substantial role.

THINGS seem to be heating up between Gisele Bundchen and "Fantastic Four" star Chris Evans. A source tells us Evans - who recently split with his girlfriend of two years, Jessica Biel - injured his ankle during a photo shoot for Men's Health magazine in New York last week while the supermodel was visiting family in her native Brazil. Bundchen couldn't fly to be with him, but she let him recuperate in her apartment. A rep for Bundchen didn't return e-mails.
