Lynne Spears's book about raising her famous daughters Britney and Jamie Lynn has been put on hold, the publisher confirms to PEOPLE.
"The book is delayed indefinitely. It's delayed, not cancelled," says a spokeswoman for Thomas Nelson, which publishes inspirational books and Bibles.
It had been scheduled for a spring 2008 release and was put on hold last week, says the rep. On Tuesday, news hit that 16-year-old Jamie Lynn is pregnant with her boyfriend's child.

Jessica Simpson is planning on coming out with a photography book that will consist “mostly of landscapes, of the sky, clouds”. The pictures will include journal entries from Miss Simpson herself. You never know… it might make a great coffee table book (or a coaster).
“I know exactly what I was going through when I was taking the picture, and I write it down as I take the picture, so it will be that kind of book.”

The 31-year-old is on a two-week tour promoting her new self-proclaimed style bible 'That Extra Half An Inch.' In her book Victoria gives her fashion and beauty tips to looking good. In one excerpt she said looking good is all about style, not the amount of money you spend. "Whether you've got £20 to spend in TopShop or £2,000 to spend at Gucci, looking good isn't about money. It's about style, and style never goes out of fashion.”
She dropped by UK department store Selfridges to sign copies of her new book.

The former football great, who was acquitted in criminal court 11 years ago of killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, reportedly has been paid a whopping $3.5 million to write about the double murder that shocked and riveted the nation in 1994, according to a detailed report in the new National Enquirer.

the former boy band singer has announced he’s writing a tell-all book about his days with ‘NSync and coming out as a gay man.
Bass, 27, went public with his lifestyle – and relationship with The Amazing Race winner Reichen Lemkuhl - in July. Last month, Lehmkuhl released his own autobiography about being a gay man in the US Air Force.
