Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has played down reports he dated Paris Hilton, but insists the rumors gave him great press when his estranged wife Shanna Moakler fought her in a Los Angeles club.
Following the incident in October, Hilton claimed former Miss USA Moakler hit her in the jaw, while Moakler alleged Hilton's ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos, pushed her down a flight of stairs.

Despite recent denials that they were an item, Paris Hilton was caught sucking face with none other than Blink 182 drummer - and recent divorcee - Travis Barker last night at celeb hot spot Hyde.
If you recall, Paris was caught "making out like" crazy with the tattooed reality star last week in Vegas. Rumour has it that Blink 182 frontman and his wife, Shanna are splitting.
The other night, the two showed up and partied separately at Hollywood hot spot Privilege.
The rocker was more than happy to sign autographs for fans, but when Shanna saw him taking a picture with an attractive female, she wasn’t too happy. Sources say she stormed over, threw her drink on the young woman and her glass at her husband.
Barker’s rep, Dvora Vener, said, “No comment.”
