Britney Spears was apparently ‘inconsolable,’ after a skit making fun of her soon-to-be ex-husband, Kevin Federline, preceded her presentation at last night’s American Music Awards.
A rep for Britney has confirmed that she was not impressed with the performance, which was host Jimmy Kimmel’s idea, and said “[Britney] had no idea”…she was “incredibly upset” and “inconsolable.”

Year 2006 was, what a gret year for music. We saw debutalbums from both Kevin Federlinde and PARIS Hilton. Both so talented...
That was hilarious - Jimmy Kimmel is great!
Yet another ego-stroking award show has come and gone. Last night's American Music Awards started with but a whimper - Beyonce, whose niche is big sound, big moves and big hair, turned out a lackluster performance (though she looked damn good doing it.) Things didn't improve much after that.
