"Laguna's" Jason arrested
While “Laguna Beach’s” Lauren Conrad’s star has continued to rise after leaving the show that made her a household name amongst MTV watchers, her ex-boyfriend Jason Whaler seems to be going nowhere fast. When the pair confirmed their split in early August, Conrad kept quiet and Whaler wrote about it on his MySpace blog - a sure sign that someone’s desperate for the spotlight. Now Jason is getting attention, but probably not the way he’d like to.
In her weekly Monday chat, E!’s Kristin Veitch revealed that 19-year-old Jason was arrested in New York in the early hours of September 1. He was charged with three counts of bribery, criminal possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Unfortunately, no other details have arisen about the arrest. And Jason hasn’t chosen to write about it on MySpace either.
