I was so pleasantly surprised, after reading silly comments about Ken's opening, during MY opening visit to Ken Paves Salon, where I'd arranged for Ken Paves with Larry & Tiphareth to do a major restyle after cutting off my past-waist-length hair for Locks of Love [to give to kids with cancer/alopecia] -- I found him simply to the most skillful hair cutter/stylist I've ever met -- I was so amazed & impressed with all he knew about hair (which I'd not heard anywhere else) -- that he was warm and the place beautiful, and all those qualities extended to the staff who also worked with me, made it a lovely experience. This was what I wrote to them after:
Ken, Larry & Tiphareth,

I am so blessed by your gifts!! Which surely included the gift of who you are... SO pleasant to be with you!!

I am SO loving my hair. It is what I envisioned and is only time consuming now because I have to stop and field compliments and then of course take time telling them of you & the salon!!
Your graciousness, skill, knowledge, and warmth made that time VERY special.

You changed my life for the better that day!!
Amazingly so. (and the lives of two kids who get that hair!)
