Tearful Kate changes the locks to keep 'cheat' Pete out of the house
The Kate and Pete saga took another twist as the model appeared to have changed the locks north London home.
Model Kate Moss has clearly lost patience with her chaotic boyfriend, as a shiny new lock had been fitted to the heavy duty metal gate on her north London home.
Seen for the first time since reports surfaced of Pete's alleged fling with a South African model, a gaunt-looking Moss emerged from her home wrapped up in a hat, scarf and herringbone tweed jacket.
Further confirmation that the couple had split unwittingly came from Pete Doherty while at court on drug charges.
The Babyshambles frontman today pleaded guilty to drug possession after arriving at court two and a half hours late - moments after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
When asked to give his address, he started giving girlfriend Kate's St John's Wood address but stopped mid-sentence and said "actually that's changed". His lawyer then interjected to give the court an address in Hackney.
The Kate and Pete circus appears to be spiralling out of control, with drug charges, bust ups and a cancelled fashion show marking the latest chapter in the couple's chaotic relationship.
After the dramatic scenes at West London Magistrates Court, he admitted to possessing quantities of crack cocaine, heroin, cannabis and ketamine as well as to two driving offences.
A night earlier, the singer had spent the eve of his hearing alone at London's Jazz After Dark bar, guzzling cocktails after a furious bust-up with fiancée Kate Moss.
He told fans: "I'm drowning my sorrows as you never saw."
The model had fled to Paris on Saturday, with her daughter Lila Grace, after junkie Pete reportedly cheated on her.
Kate is said to be constantly "sobbing" and pulled out of John Galliano's huge Paris Fashion Week show at the eleventh hour.
The 33-year-old left organisers in a panic a couple of hours before curtain-up when she decided she couldn't go through with it.
Kate was set to model a Gainsborough-inspired dress for the extravaganza, which also featured Linda Evangelista, Gisele Bündchen and Naomi Campbell.
Before last night's gig his Babyshambles bandmates were worried as they couldn't contact him and feared he'd gone on another bender.
But Pete posted a bizarre note on a fan messageboard saying: [sic] "Spread the word you jivejaguars jazz speil optional moind. A couple of pre-sentencing singalongs (9pm) and for the midnight hour another cocktail jug or two's worth of melody and melancholic or merry mutterings. I'm on the cosmopolitans with Purple this afternoon. Drowning sorrows as you never saw."
A pale and dishevelled Doherty showed up without a shirt on and red ink all over his smoke-stained hands.
