She's back
Miss USA Tara Conner checked out of a rehab clinic yesterday and headed back to her Trump Place apartment - clean, sober and ready to reclaim her tiara.
The 21-year-old spent a month drying out at the Caron Foundation in Pennsylvania after her reported drinking, cocaine use and free-loving ways almost cost her the title.
But pageant boss Donald Trump gave Conner another chance, and insiders say she'll resume public appearances once she settles back into the city.
"Right now she's just going to get used to being out," a source said. "She needs some time to breathe."
The Miss USA pageant angrily denied a report in yesterday's Daily News that Conner was mulling a welcome-home party at Stereo, scene of many of her debauched evenings.
"Tara Conner will not be at Stereo for a coming-out party - or any party at Stereo, for that matter," said pageant spokeswoman Lark-Marie Anton.
