Paris Hilton: obsessed with money, tried to buy a cheetah
Paris Hilton reportedly amused locals during her recent trip to South Africa because she was so focused on money.
The socialite visited the country last month during with boyfriend Benji Madden’s band, Good Charlotte and hosted a VIP club night as well as visiting local schools for promotional photo shoots.
But a source at the Mount Nelson Hotel in Cape Town, where the couple stayed a one point, has now told the New York Daily News that throughout the trip, Paris only had one thing on her mind: “Every time Paris saw something she liked, like a woman’s dress, she would ask how much it was.”
“That included a cheetah she saw at an animal park. She asked how much it was and said, ‘If I bought a cheetah, would it run away from me or could I keep it?’”
Now back in the US, the heiress launched her own range of shoes yesterday after complaining that even designer footwear looks like “clown shoes” in her shoe size, US women’s 11 (UK size 9).
