Paris Hilton advised to get jail over and done with ASAP
Paris Hilton is being urged by friends to take the leap and ask if she can start her jailtime before the court-mandated 5th June.
Paris has recently hired DUI-specialist attorney Richard Hutton to front up her appeal (should it be granted) and is said to be exploring other options to get out of the jailtime but with those options not looking particularly hopeful, friends are urging her to just get it over and done with.
A friend of the socialite’s told In Touch Weekly: “Various people are telling her the chances of avoiding jail are just about nil. They are telling her she should take a deep breath, do her time and then get on with her life.”
Threatening messages, claiming to be from existing inmates of the Century Regional Detention Facility, have been left on Paris’ website, suggesting the heiress will be victimised during her time inside despite being kept in a special cell, separated from the more violent offenders.
Another friend told the Sun: “Paris is distraught. She can’t eat, she can’t sleep, she’s terrified. This is a nightmare.”
In a statement issued via Richard Hutton yesterday, Paris said she was “ready to face the consequences of violating probation. No one is above the law. I surely am not. I do not expect to be treated better than anyone else who violated probation. However, my hope is that I will not be treated worse.”
