Oprah's New Green Thumb Has Stripper Past
Australian garden guru Jamie Durie received a rock star welcome when he made his debut on The Oprah Winfrey Show in the US.
The largely female live TV audience jumped to its feet and clapped excitedly when the former host of Backyard Blitz was introduced by Winfrey.
Durie, who received similar frenzied welcomes in his former career as a stripper with the beefcake troupe ManPower, did not have to shed a piece of clothing to get the reaction when he appeared on Winfrey's Chicago stage.
All it took was a glowing endorsement from the billionaire TV talkshow queen.
Durie's pearly white smile probably also helped.
"You may not have heard of this guy, but wait until you see what he can do!" said Winfrey..
