Martinez was seen with a mystery woman in his vintage Aston Martin heading for actor Salma Hayek's hillside mansion in Los Angeles.
They dined there with others, including film director Ridley Scott.
An onlooker said Martinez looked "very comfortable and happy, not remotely upset".
"You wouldn't have thought he'd just split with the love of his life," the source said.
Witnesses told Martinez emerged from the house alone and drove back to Chateau Marmont, the Los Angeles hotel where he has been staying.
Less than half an hour later the mystery woman was driven in a Jeep by two other men to the hotel, where she stayed overnight.
Martinez's date with the mystery woman has reportedly aggravated Israeli model Sarai Givati, another of the women he's been linked to.
A friend of the actor told the News of the World: "Olivier got it in the neck from both women this week.
"Kylie had had enough of him appearing with Sarai . . . and Sarai knew his relationship with Kylie was all but over.
"They both told him he had to make a choice: 'It's her or me'."
A mutual friend of Martinez and Givati told the Daily Mail the pair had struck up their romance at least several months ago. "They met in Los Angeles in the first week of October where they spent three days at the Chateau Marmont," the friend said..
