Nicole Richie on more children: if it happens, it happens
Nicole Richie has said she and fiance Joel Madden have no particular plans to expand their family just yet.
The couple welcomed daughter Harlow into the world in January and Nicole told Extra recently regarding a second child: “If it happens, it happens.”
She explained they’re “just enjoying every day” with Harlow and the eight month old baby girl is really starting develop: “She is pulling herself up standing … we don’t have to burp her anymore.
“She [also] says ‘mama’ and ‘dada’. She says ‘dada’ when she wants to play. Wants to laugh. And ‘mama’ is everything else. When we walk into a place, she waves to everyone.”
The former party girl socialite added that she’s not making any special moves to insulate Harlow from the world - even if that world is crazy Hollywood: “She’s eight months now. I can’t put her in the infant seat and cover her. She’d definitely know something’s going on … she wants to experience life and, as a mother, that’s important.”
