Nick Lachey to propose to Vanessa Minnillo soon?
Friends of Vanessa Minnillo suspect that Vanessa’s boyfriend Nick Lachey will pop the question to the MTV presenter soon.
The couple began dating last summer after Nick separated from now ex-wife Jessica Simpson and Nick was spotted moving into Vanessa’s New York apartment last month.
A source close to the pair told Us Weekly: “[Vanessa]’s confident that he’ll do it when the time is right.”
“They want to try out the living-together thing and if it goes well - which it will - he’ll pop the question.”
“I think he very much believes this is it.”
The two were rumoured to have got engaged at New York during MTV’s New Years Eve activities when, on-camera, Nick was seen to whisper something to Vanessa which caused her to cry. The pair both denied that the whispered message was a proposal.
