Nick Lachey to Wed Vanessa Minnillo?
It seems all but certain that Nick Lachey is ready to tie the knot with Vanessa Minnillo some are suggesting. According to a new published report the hunky singer confided to a pal during a guy's night out at the W Hotel in Los Angeles that he is ready for round two of marriage now that starter wife Jessica Simpson and her meddling dad Joe are far enough out of the picture.
OK! magazine reports that an insider dished to the magazine that after two hours of talking about football and computers, Nick's eyes lit up as the conversation steered toward Vanessa, 26.
When asked if he was planning to "put a ring on her finger," Nick smiled, "It will happen." A fellow diner tells OK, "Nick couldn't keep the grin off his face. His buddy tried to press for more details, but he refused to talk anymore about it."
Nick, 33, also made a dig at ex Jessica Simpson's dad, Joe, saying "I won't have to deal with an interfering father-in-law this time." That should score him points right there. Nick and Vanessa have now been together for 18 months.
