Lindsay: "I loved him!"
Heath Ledger's death has shocked and unnerved yet another high-profile celebrity .
Sources close to Lindsay Lohan revealed exclusively to E! Online special correspondent Tina Dirmann that the actress was devastated by the news.
"I loved him," she told friends, adding that she had also talked to him as recently as this week, and the two were going to see each other on Friday.
"They had plans to meet this weekend, because Lindsay was going to be in New York," a source revealed to Dirmann. "So, news of his unfortunate passing has hit her especially hard."
Those around Lindsay speculate that she is also so affected by his passing because of her own battle with drug use and depression.
"Let's just say, she could really relate to his situation," another Lindsay pal told Dirmann. "She used to be there, and I think that probably scared her."
