Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony’s marriage in trouble?
Jennifer Lopez’s marriage to Marc Anthony is reportedly in trouble less than a year after they welcomed their twins, Max and Emme.
Rumours of marital strife picked up a pace last week after Jennifer attended the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button without her wedding ring, engagement ring or Marc - who had been spotted partying in Las Vegas a few days earlier, also wedding ring-free.
A source close to the couple told Us Weekly: “They both didn’t wear their rings on purpose. Nothing Jennifer does is without purpose.”
The source continued: “He’s very, very controlling of her. He would never want her to go to a big event like the Button premiere without him.
“He doesn’t like it when she takes pictures without him, or even when she leaves a room without him.
“The skirts aren’t as short. You don’t see so much of that booty any more.”
Jennifer previously claimed she “loved getting his opinions” about her life but is less interested since the birth of Max and Emme last February: “She walks in from work, washes her hands and grabs the babies. With him, it’s almost like, ‘Ugh, they’re crying again?’
“[She also] blames Marc for her career going down the tubes. Jennifer looked around and said, ‘This is my life now? I’m a Long Island housewife?’ She hates that everything she worked for went down the tubes.
“They are both getting bored. She wanted this domestic life, but now she’s bored out of her mind. She wants the old J-Lo back.”
Marc’s publicist denied the rumours, saying “they’re doing great” and the couple were spotted heading out for a display of unity dinner in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.
