Jennifer Lopez & Marc Anthony renew wedding vows in Las Vegas
Jennifer Lopez and husband Marc Anthony secretly renewed their wedding vows in Las Vegas in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The couple, who originally married four years ago, held the ceremony in the newly renovated Forum Tower Penthouse at Caesar’s Palace at around 3:30am, after a night out at the Pussycat Dolls show, followed by drinking at Pure nightclub and gambling at the hotel’s casino.
A source told People magazine that the service was officiated by Rev. Steven Smith and observed by two friends, who also exchanged their vows for a second time: “It was totally a spur of the moment thing. They decided around 12:30 in the morning that they wanted to do it and started calling for ministers.”
Despite being last minute organisation, the event was pulled off “nearly flawless[ly]”: “Initially, they were supposed to do the ceremony outside on the suite’s balcony but it was too cold, so they had to move it inside. That was the only thing that didn’t go according to plan.
“It was very intimate and sweet. They both talked about how much they love each other. The word ‘forever’ was used a lot!”
The couple then celebrated with Dom Perignon Rose champagne while Jennifer’s parents watched over the couple’s eight month old babies, Max and Emme in another part of the lavish suite.
