Eva Mendes Gets Liquored Up For Sex
Not all girls would need a vodka to sleep with Joaquin Phoenix. But not every girl is going to be naked with the heartthrob on a big screen.
Eva Mendes, however, had that reality. And no matter how beautiful you are, it seems that nerves can still get the better of a star before stripping.
The Latin stunner told reporters at the Cannes Film Festival that she needed to be liquored up before her first nude seen on film, for the movie "We Own The Night."
Eva said, "I wasn't comfortable at all. They were very sweet and they poured me a vodka and orange juice and then I was fine. I'm very professional and I don't usually drink on the job but that morning I had a little vodka and OJ."
Even getting deep into character didn't help Eva. The star said, "My boob is still my boob."
However, the actress did find one positive in the experience. Eva told reporters that her director, James Gray, made the experience a lot easier.
She said, "He did it at the end of the shoot, so it was the last day and I was really, really comfortable with these clowns."
