Denise Richards and Richie Sambora split
After dating for more than a year, Denise Richards has split with Richie Sambora, Denise's rep tells In Touch exclusively. Her rep says, "Denise and Richie broke up two months ago," but according to a friend of the actress, "they didn't want to make it public because they lived through public divorces and it was very painful."
The couple had been drifting apart for some time but remain close. Denise even flew across the country to attend the funeral for Richie's father, Adam, 70, who succumbed to cancer on April 20. "She took the next flight - a red eye - to be with him," says Denise's pal. "She stayed with him in New Jersey for two weeks for the wake and the funeral."
