Chelsy Davy dumps Prince Harry over partying and womanising
Prince Harry and Chelsy Davy have reportedly split up after three years together.
According to the News of the World, Chelsy dumped the royal heir over the phone this week after growing tired of hearing about his constant partying - which often included him being spotted flirting with other women.
A friend of the former couple told the newspaper: “Chelsy just couldn’t put up with his antics any more. She feels they’ve fallen out of love.”
“She was sick to the back teeth of Harry not putting the maximum amount of effort into the relationship.”
“She doesn’t often show her emotion but there were a few tears shed on the phone as she realised it was all over.”
Zimbabwe-born Chelsy is currently studying for a post-graduate law qualification in Leeds and is said to have picked a UK university to be closer to Harry.
The friend added: “It’s ironic that Chelsy and Harry had a beautiful relationship when they were 6,000 miles apart. But when they lived 195 miles apart they could only make it last two months.”
“They thought their relationship would get even stronger but in fact it has crumbled.”
A senior palace source confirmed the news, saying: “The relationship is over. It has simply run its course. Harry will be carrying on with his army career and Chelsy will continue with her studies.”
Harry will also continue with his partying: he’s said to have racked up a £2500 bar bill at London club Amika on Friday night after getting the phone call from Chelsy.
An onlooker told the Sunday Mirror that Harry’s group - the prince, five friends and two bodyguards - entered the club around 11.30pm: “They wasted no time getting stuck in, pouring tumblers full of vodka and handing out champagne to partygoers.
“One stunning brunette came over to talk to Harry at about midnight. They chatted for a while and she joined him for a couple of drinks. It was obvious that they knew each other. There was a lot of touching. Harry needs a shoulder to cry on at this time and it hasn’t taken him long to find someone.”
“Harry was the centre of attention. Lots of girls came over to dance round his table, but he was not interested in talking to anyone he did not know.”
