Britney Spears to cancel tour?
Britney Spears is reportedly considering cancelling her forthcoming tour if she’s not allowed to take her children on the road with her.
After losing custody in October 2007, the star currently sees sons Sean and Jayden for three day time visits and one overnight stay a week - but her tour around North America would get in the way of that.
Sources close to the family claim Britney and dad Jamie Spears have been talking to ex-husband Kevin Federline about the arrangements over the last few weeks after their legal teams reached a stalement.
A source explained: “Britney doesn’t want the boys to follow her to every city, that would be exhausting and unnecessary, but she wants them to be close to her.
“She’ll set up a base in New Jersey for her East Coast shows, another base at her home in Louisiana and will have her new home in LA as a third base and she wants the boys to stay at the nearest one so she can see them.
“She’s willing to pay Kevin Federline to travel around with them of course but his lawyers have been telling him to resist.
“Britney has said she will cancel the tour if she means she can’t take the boys with her. Her career is important but they’re the most important thing in her life right now.”
The tour kicks off in New Orleans in March and sees her playing 36 gigs across the US and Canada in the spring before flying over to the UK for eight dates in June.
