Britney Spears takes sons to an alligator park after Jayden recovers
Britney Spears celebrated her son Jayden’s recovery back to full health yesterday by taking the two year old, and his three year old brother Sean, on an alligator park in Mississippi.
The boy was hospitalised overnight on Sunday after reacting to something he ate during a family get-together that afternoon. After observation and tests, Britney was allowed to take him home - to their family home Serenity in Kentwood, Louisiana - on Monday evening.
Yesterday Britney took the boys to the nearby tourist attraction with her 17 year old sister Jamie Lynn Spears, and Jamie Lynn’s six month old daughter Maddie.
An onlooker reported: “Jayden was laughing and smiling a lot. He looked fully recovered.”
Doctors are said to have concluded that the boy has an allergy to “something he’d eaten” and a source told OK magazine that “something” was shellfish: “Jayden’s had a sensitivity to shellfish in the past, although he’s never been formally tested for it. He has been now. Britney was extremely upset.”
The incident occurred during Britney’s first out-of-state trip with the boys since she lost shared custody of the pair a year ago.
However their dad Kevin Federline’s lawyer Mark Vincent Kaplan has said he thinks it’s unlikely that there will be a legal hearing to investigate what happened: “I anticipate that Kevin and Britney as concerned parents will exchange information and satisfy themselves that what happened was a freak occurrence and do what they have to do to make sure that it doesn’t happen again.
“We’re pleased that someone was aware enough to see that he was having some sort of reaction and do what was necessary to make sure there were no chances taken and got Jayden to the appropriate facility and got the appropriate evaluation to be timely.
“Kevin was considering going to Louisiana [after the hospitalisation] but the information that we had was Jayden was already checked out. There wasn’t an emergency.”
