Angelina Jolie: reports fuel pregnancy & wedding rumours
The Angelina Jolie pregnancy rumours have been fuelled after the actress reportedly asked for maternity leave from the producers of her three forthcoming films.
Angelina’s action film Wanted and animated Dreamworks film Kung Fu Panda are due to be released in June and Changeling near the end of the year - but the actress is said to have told producers that she’ll been taking the summer off work to the birth of her rumoured baby (or babies).
According to the Mirror, Angelina has agreed to attend the Cannes Film Festival in May but after that is unlikely to be available for any promotional events for at least a few months.
But a source told the People newspaper that the pregnancy has inspired Angelina and partner Brad Pitt to plan one much-anticipated event: their wedding.
Despite previous assertions that they wouldn’t marry having both experienced failed marriages in the past, the source claims the pair are now planning a private spring wedding at their home in Santa Barbara, California.
The source explains the change of heart has comeabout after the tensions between Angelina and Brad’s mum Jane finally fell away. Jane Pitt’s relationship with former daughter-in-law Jennifer Aniston and disagreement with Angelina & Brad’s child raising methods was said to have driven a wedge between the pair but now the women have made amends: “[Angelina and Brad] have talked about marrying for a while. They have been together three years and are as happy as ever. Sorting things out with Brad’s mum is the icing on the cake.”
