Amy Winehouse in racist drugs video
New video and photos of Amy Winehouse have come to light which show snippets from the early days of her marriage to husband Blake Fielder-Civil last year.
The News of the World has released the clips, filmed in May 2007, which show the singer and a friend singing a list of racist names to the tune of children’s song ‘Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes’ - while Blake promises he isn’t filming it, just taking still pictures.
The women sing: “Blacks, Pakis, Gooks and Nips, Gooks and Nips; Blacks, Pakis, Gooks and Nips, Gooks and Nips;
“Deaf and dumb and blind and gay; Blacks, Pakis, Gooks and Nips, Gooks and Nips.”
During the first line, Amy is seen pulling at the corners of her eyes when referring to “nips” but then by the end, pushes up her boobs to indicate to her nipples.
At the end of the song, Blake repeats that he wasn’t filming them and tells Amy’s friend “I swear on your life, I swear on your life” that the camera wasn’t videoing.
The incident was filmed in a room scattered with cluttered commonly associated with drug use, including black encrusted sheets of tin foil (commonly used for smoking heroin) and numerous disposable lighters.
Later in the clip, Amy is seen sleeping and Blake, behind the camera, scans around the room showing litter, including more silver foil, spread across the floor. A man then says “it’s not big and it’s not clever, alright?”, prompting Blake to turn the camera on himself and contradict his friend, saying “it is big and clever…”
Related pictures show Amy and Blake in bed together, exchanging white pills held on the end of their tongues, and according to the newspaper, a further video clip seemingly shows Blake encouraging Amy to perform oral sex on him in the public stairwell of a hotel - which again, Blake promises he isn’t videoing.
The newspaper’s source explained: “Blake’s clearly the instigator behind the idea of them having risky public sex. It looks like the camera was a new toy and he wanted to test it out.”
“Some might say Blake’s been the unwitting architect of Amy’s downfall. But to risk all Amy’s achievements and her future by committing this sort of material to camera is beyond the pale.
“Most people would find the couple’s lifestyle strange. But they’ve always liked to be a bit rock ‘n’ roll. The tattoos, the drugs, the scrawny look and tight clothes are all part of it.
“The problem is that the history of rock is littered with broken people. We all hope to God Amy’s not going to be remembered for the wrong reasons.”
