Amy Winehouse Puts Tour on Hold
A rep for Amy Winehouse has said that the singer "is putting all her touring commitments for this month on hold until further notice in order to address her health issues. Her family has requested that the media respect Amy’s privacy at this time. There will be no further comment.”
On Aug. 8, Winehouse, 23, was rushed to the hospital, where she was treated for exhaustion. Sources tell Us however, that drugs and alcohol were involved.
She has previously called herself a "violent drunk" and referred to past problems with eating disorders and cutting. "When it comes to self-worth and looks," a friend of Winehouse's tells Us," she has a low opinion of herself."
